作为对使用较多的神经元细胞培养添加剂的改进，B-27 添加剂（去除维生素 A）是初始 B-27 添加剂在去除维生素 A（视黄醇乙酸酯）后的定制版本。B-27 添加剂（去除维生素 A）是一种无血清添加剂，无论是悬浮的神经球还是贴壁单层培养，都是用于培养神经祖细胞和神经干细胞的理想选择，而不会诱导分化。B-27 添加剂（去除维生素 A）以 50X 液体形式提供，适合与 Neurobasal 培养基或 Neurobasal-A 培养基配合使用进行神经元细胞培养，而无需星形胶质细胞滋养层。
